this was a tough week for me.. everytime mag-usap kami may misunderstanding..saktong tampo..saktong selos..saktong homesick.. lahat na.. haaaay.. sana lng.. wag bumigay.. kaya pa.. kinakaya pa..

 

anyway,enough with the drama. umeemo nanaman ako..

 

monday: formal interview at Knott's Employment Center

the interview went well..the interviewer actually liked the way I answered his questions and eventually gave a job offering instead of passing my papers to his supervisor for more interviews etc. then he asked me if i can wait for three more hours for me to do some paperworks. since it was just around 2pm, I ate lunch first and took a look around the stores. when I went back to the center, I answered more questions and did my papers and was formally given a job offering.After doing so, I asked my dad to fetch me up and go to the clinic for drug testing.natagalan kami dun kasi ung unang trial ko kinapos ung wiwi ko.. hehehe.. kaya aun.. nilunod ko muna sarili ko sa tubig bago ko ginawa ung 2nd trial.hehe..

tuesday: went to Kim's hideout

nakakamiss din pala tong lukaret natoh. siya si Kim Buhay (Ms. Nursing 06/Bb. Pilipinas07 Candidate) hinatid ako ng pinsan ni dad papunta sa bahay ng tito ni kim.. tumambay dun.. kumain ng masrap nilang spag,kwentuhang parang walang humpay..sabay nood ng dibidi at halos makaidlip sa puyat kinagabihan.

wednesday: bought something for someone

i received a call from knott's.i had to show them my ssc for background check..after that, tinopak si monty (ung montero ni dad) kaya we had to wait for the insurance to help us. wen we got home,i decided to go someplace else.so i borrowed my dad's bike and went to another mall.I saw a cute Roxie top and decided to buy it.di naman para sakn eh.hehehe.para kay little one.aun.. then i went back home..ginabi ako.. super lamig sa daan..ansarap magbike kasi un lng ung regular physical activity ko.

thursday: bat for monty, malling, starbucks, driving, MALUPIT NA AWAY

woke up early kasi my dad&i had to look for monty's new battery.after 5 years straight wala pang palit ung battery nya.bka drained na kaya tinotopak.while my dad was busy with monty, i went to sears and nordstrom.. nagikot2 lng.. nageenjoy aq s window shopping eh.. wala naman din kasi ako pera pambili ng gusto ko.. at kahit meron naman, nahihiya parin aq kasi hindi ko pera un..eniwei, my dad asked me to buy some drinks in starbucks.. at kundi naman aq sinuswerte! ako pa ung nabigyan ng customervoice receipt.. asteeg.. naexcite ako.sna ako ung manalo sa promo naun! hehe.. instant pamasahe pauwi un! siyeeeeeeeeet! eniwei, pagdting namin, andun na si tita kaya magagamit na namin ung car. dad taught me how to drive a matic.sanay kasi ako sa manual eh.tas ang weird pa ng mga rules nila dito.super strict..so aun.. mejo complicated at first kasi sanay ako sa van, hindi sa car.. pero nakakatuwa naman.

 

PERO, despite the fun day, sobrang lungkot at sobrang hirap ng dinanas ko nung gabi.. as in...another MISUNDERSTANDING.. haaay... di na natapos.. sana hindi na maulit..ayaw ko na ng ganun... pls lng...

 

friday: Im employed!! yey!!

papers done! got my uniform and name badge! im officially a knott's berry farm employee! weeeh!after picking up my uniform, i went back home just to drop my stuffs in my rum and went strolling to the mall again..nagbike lang ako the whole day! exercise sa legs infairness ha..pagbalik ko sa bahay, nagluto ako ng dinner and naglaba ng mga dekolor na damit.. napuyat ako dahil dun.. antagal matuyo eh..napagtripan ko din ung kuko ko.. kaya napag-pedicure ako ng di oras..

saturday&sunday: boring weekend

normal lang.tinuruan aq ulit mgdrive.. this time dumaan kami sa main road..tapos sunday nagsimba lang ulit.. interesting ung homily ng paring galing India.magaling xa..tambay lang ulit s relatives..tapos umuwi.. ganun kaboring..

 

un lang.. wala naman maxadong madaming nangyari ngayon.. nexcite lang ako sa uniform na nakuha ko.. mukha akong girl scout! haha! camp snoopy...HERE I COME!

2nd Sunday ko dito, we went to my dad's relatives' house to watch Pacquiao's fight. Pay per view un.and mahal ha.. in fairness.$50 xa!kung ako un, wag nlng ako manood.sayang lang sa pera.eniwei, d nmn ako ung nagbayad kaya nakinood narin ako. The experience was new for me kasi andami kong kasamang nanood.PURO MATATANDA!mama mia! aq lng tlga ung bata.as in.hay... aun. naaliw ako dun sa tropa ng dad ko kasi talgang nakatau lng xa sa isang gilid tas naka-clench ung fists nya tas niiikot2 nya as if susuntok xa.ang kyot tlga!hahaha! naka-stance pa xa ng boxer ha.feel na feel tlga nya ung panonood!eniwei,I didnt like the fight.hindi maxadong exciting.aun. after that may black rosary dun sa place kaya nakibahagi nmn ako kahit papano.

 

The next day,March 17, my dad handed me a mail. It was my Social Security Card!! I finally got my ssc!I can finally look for a job!yey!hanap ako agad sa net chaka sa mga newspapers dito.although alam ko n tlga sn ako magwowork.hehe.tamang may thrill lang na naghahanap ng work.wala lng.

The whole day of tuesday nagbasa lang ako ng CA driving manual kasi the next day,written exams ko sa DMV. When I took the exams, I actually thought it was easy.PERO hindi pala!lalo na ung questionaire na napunta sakn.nakakalinlang ang mga sagot.super confident pako kaya hindi ko nidobol chek.kaya ung 1st take ko bagsak!hahaha!11 mistakes out of 30+ items.the passing grade was 6mistakes lng dapat.aun.so after that,my dad&i went to Carl's Jr. to eat lunch sabay review ulit ako. After eating, we went back to DMV,took my 2nd exam,and viola! I aced it!!! one mistake!! yeah!! im good! hahaha! joke.so... yeah.. i got my driving permit already.pwede nako turuan magdrive ng ama ko.

 

March 20 jan sa pinas,todo away kami..sus..crybaby strikes agen and agen and agen.

nung dumating ung 20 dito, I went to Knott's Berry Farm Theme Park to apply for a position.Filled out an application form, passed it to them, had a short pre-interview with one of the employees in the department, then went home.They asked me to go back on monday the week after for my formal interview. then when I got home, my dad gave me another mail.(not sure if it's on the 20th or the 21st) It was my GREENCARD!!! finally!im a resident already!I can GO BACK TO PINAS NA!!!YEY!!! hehehe.. super saya ko when I got this kasi I was really planning to go back home when I get this st()pid card.lalo tuloy ako naexcite makahanap ng work para makaipon ng pamasahe pauwi.

 

Teka,ngayon ko lang narealized that the HOLY WEEK occured during this week.a week full of blessing from God.naniniwala tlga ako na God moves in mysterious ways.hindi lang basta2 kanta un!

Black saturday namin dito was spent @ Isla Filipina resto kasi may gig sila dad dun.

 

East Sunday: went to mass early in the morning.tapos kumain kami ng lunch sa eat-all-you-can chinese/jap resto. (lalo ko tuloy namiss si em kasi kami ung laging magkasama sa eayc eh.. haaaay.)after eating, naglakad2 kami sa mga stores tapos nagspot ng shoes.. tas saka naisipan nila dad na dalhin ako sa factory outlet ng designer brands.

HEAVEN ung lugar na un! sobrang mura ng branded stuffs!

shopping gallore!libre lahat! for that day, I got a pair of nine west pumps (sooo cute!and soooo high!it's sooo chick...!!), a pair of Old Navy slippers, quicksilver shirt and pants, and more old navy stuff.ansarap tlga pag libre!! hahay.. tapos nung napagod magshop,pmnta sa starbucks at bumili ng green tea frap!masaya ako kasi hilig ko ang magshopping tas saktong libre kaya mas masaya.

 

pero the whole time i was there,i was thinking of buying something for someone..*ehem* atleast alam ko na san ako ppnta bago aq umuwi ng pinas pra bmli ng pasalubong.hehe.

 

 

 

 

Ngayon na nasulat ko toh, lalo kong narerealize na tama ang sabi sakn ni mama.It's God's will na mapunta ako dito.All the things I received within this week were all blessings in disguise.I'm just praying na sana talaga, it would also be His will for me to go back in the Philippines. (sigh)

ever since i got  back from thailand, i have not slept longer than 4 hours each day! xmas party here and there, countless night-outs, free-flowing alcohol, and eat-all-you-can munchies...!! waaaaaahh!! nakakamiss din pala tong ganitong buhay.. :)

 

and now, its already 5:25 in the morning and yet here i am... listening to some feel-good music and typing my thoughts while waiting for mr. sandman to sprinkle some sleeping dust on me. (hah! i believe in the power of the sandman!hahaha!! :P -- i need some freakin' sleep!)

 

hmmm.... what to do...? what do i want to do..? my brother woke up a little past 4am without any idea why the heck he's suddenly wide awake. and out of the blue, he went outside and wearing shorts, shirt and rubber shoes. HE WENT JOGGING!!! weird huh..? if only i knew that  then i should've geared up and went jogging with him. haaaay.. now im bored, and still awake without any sign of sleeping yet.

 

 

anyway.. i'll just make something productive (anu kaya toh...? luto nlng ako fud.. hehe..) before forcing myself to sleep.. ciao! :D
